I O Ms at the University lake Six International One Metre class yachts (I O Ms) were involved in serious race practice at the SCMBC lake on Sunday 14th May '06. Members of the Mooloolaba Radio Yacht Club Inc., www.geocities.com/mrycincau who specialise in the one metre class, took advantage of a fine morning to run a series of practice races. Conditions were great at first, but became a bit blustery later. This is just one sign of the return of greater activity at our club. Old members are returning and new members are showing great interest. One metre class yachts will be racing at our lake most Sundays, from 10.30 am, at Kawana Island from 1 pm on Tuesdays and at Quad Park from 1 pm on Saturdays.
