Wherever you are coming from, head for the University of the Sunshine Coast. There is an excellent shelter by the lake and a sausage sizzle and drinks are available each Sunday. This map shows the route from the University main entrance to the lake - the last part is a dirt road. Drive slowly and watch out for kangaroos !
